This memorandum seeks to accelerate, deepen and widen the relationship that has developed through the growth of trans-Tasman trade and investment. It notes harmonisation of significant areas of business law and regulation can be of mutual benefit to both countries.
This memorandum provided a starting point for dialogue between New Zealand and Australia on business law issues.
