Memorandum of Cooperation between the New Zealand Qualifications Authority and the Malaysian Qualifications Agency on Cooperation in the Field of Quality Assurance in Higher Education Qualifications

Subject and Purpose:
The Memorandum of Cooperation, and obligation under Article 8.9 (7) of the Malaysia - New Zealand Free Trade Agreement (MNZFTA), established a working group on the recognition of qualifications between New Zealand and Malaysia.
It was mutually decided between the participants to extend this Arrangement for six months beyond the original expiry of 13 April 2014. After this six month duration the Arrangement expired and it was superseded by the Cooperation Arrangement between the Malaysian Qualifications Agency and the New Zealand Qualifications Authority of October 2014.
