New Zealand and Greece will use best endeavours to promote cultural cooperation by encouraging:
a. cooperation between museums and other institutions in the fields of cultural and historical heritage;
b. mutual exchanges of artists and experts in every field of contemporary culture as well as of cultural heritage;
c. participation of their representatives in international congresses, conferences, seminars, festivals, and other cultural events, organised in their respective countries;
d. cooperation within international organisations in the field of culture
e. conservation, maintenance and interpretation of shared heritage materials from the conflicts of the twentieth century; and
f. commemoration, on significant anniversaries, of the special shared memory forged through the Battle for Crete, 1941. Note that an exchange of notes is required for this to enter into force.
