Subject and Purpose:
The Cooperation Arrangement references NZQA and EDB's desire to establish, strengthen, promote and develop cooperation in relation to the development of their respective qualifications frameworks. NZQA has worked closely with the Education Bureau (EDB) since later 2012 to understand each other's qualification systems and explore areas of cooperation. This is an obligation under Annex IV to Chapter 13, Education Cooperation 4 (a) of the New Zealand-Hong Kong, China Closer Economic Partnership Agreement.
