Memorandum of Understanding Concerning the Exchange of Drivers' Licences between the New Zealand Transport Agency and the Province of Ontario of Canada

Subject and Purpose:
The New Zealand Transport Agency and the Province of Ontario of Canada have come to an understanding considering that New Zealand and Ontario; issue Drivers' Licences which authorise their residents to drive Motor Vehicles within their respective jurisdiction; make it a requirement that a person who resides in their respective jurisdiction hold a Drivers' Licence that is valid while driving a Motor Vehicle on a Highway and; intend to exchange Drivers' Licences in accordance with this Memorandum of Understanding in circumstances where persons who have held Drivers' Licences issued by either of them have moved to and are now residing in the other's jurisdiction.
