The national legislations of most countries accordingly contain provisions allowing conditional relief from duties and taxes for certain categories of goods temporarily imported. The Customs procedure under which conditional relief from import duties and taxes may be granted in respect of goods imported for a specific purpose and intended for re-exportation in the same state is the temporary admission procedure. This Annex E5 describes and explains the temporary admission procedure.
