The key objective of the Agreement is to extend to approved film projects the status of official co-productions, which are entitled to the benefits accorded national films in each of the co-producers countries. Such benefits include tax advantages, access to film financing and incentives within the existing legislation of each country, and government facilitation through the temporary immigration of nationals of the other country and the temporary entry of technical equipment.
