These amendments extend the Treaty on Fisheries between a number of Pacific Island States and the US (the US Tuna Treaty), for a further term of 10 years from June 2003. These amendments never formally entered into force as all parties did not ratify - but were provisionally applied. The 2016 amendments to the US Tuna Treaty (http://www.treaties.mfat.govt.nz/search/details/p/228) will effectively supersede these amendments as they incorporate and amend the 2002 changes.
