To eliminate customs duties on 12 additional tariff lines of wood and paper products previously excluded from tariff elimination commitments under the existing New Zealand-China Free Trade Agreement (FTA). The side letter also establishes a new process in the FTA Joint Commission, providing for greater transparency mechanisms for wood and paper products benefiting from progressive liberalisation under the terms of the existing FTA.
