The agreement was renewed on the same terms as that of 1 February 1995, (it was extended by EoL of 29/1/98 and 27/3/98 to 31 January 1999) with the exception of Article II which stipulated that "the Agreement shall remain in force until the withdrawal of all New Zealand personnel from the United Nations Accelerated Demining Programme in Mozambique."
